The closing conference of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Serbia and European Union funded joint project “Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Healthcare in Serbia” was held on March 18th 2011, at Sava Center in Belgrade.

The Evaluation of Pilot Sites Accreditation Survey Results workshop was organized by the EU funded Project „Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia“ and held in Project premises in Belgrade on February 25th 2011.

The fourth workshop on quality indicators was organized by the EU funded Project: „Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia“ and held in Hotel M in Belgrade on February 3, 2011. 
 

The second workshop on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) was organized by the Project, and held in offices of the Agency for Accreditation of Health Care Institutions of Serbia on January 27th 2011.

On the occasion of the end of training for external surveyors, a Certificate Award Ceremony was held in Belgrade on November 24, 2010. As part of the Project activities, during the period August 30th – October 16th 2010, training was held for nearly 100 healthcare professionals who are now qualified to work as external surveyors according to the Agency for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions in Serbia (AZUS) Act for the upcoming accreditation of health care instituions in Serbia.

The “Future Directions of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) in Serbia” workshop was organized by the Project, and held in Hotel M in Belgrade on November 3rd, 2010.

The third workshop on quality indicators, which are proposed to be part of the Accreditation Survey, was organized by the EU funded Project: „Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia,“ and held in Hotel M in Belgrade on October 28, 2010. 
 

The 26th Conference of the International Society for Quality in Health Care  (ISQua) was held in Paris this year from the 10th -13th October.

With the support of the Project „Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia”, Dr. Snezana Manic, Director of the Agency for Accreditation of Health Care Institutions in Serbia (AZUS), Dr. Nevena Karanovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, Dr. Ivana Misic, Assitant to the Minister of Health, Vladimir Arsenovic, AZUS and Sasa Rikanovic, Coordinator of the DILS Project, visited NICE from the 26th -30th September.
