External surveyors awarded certificates

On the occasion of the end of training for external surveyors, a Certificate Award Ceremony was held in Belgrade on November 24, 2010. As part of the Project activities, during the period August 30th – October 16th 2010, training was held for nearly 100 healthcare professionals who are now qualified to work as external surveyors according to the Agency for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions in Serbia (AZUS) Act for the upcoming accreditation of health care instituions in Serbia.

With the support of the Project „Establishment of the Public Agency for Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement of Health Care in Serbia”, Dr. Snezana Manic, Director of the Agency for Accreditation of Health Care Institutions in Serbia (AZUS), Dr. Nevena Karanovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia, Dr. Ivana Misic, Assitant to the Minister of Health, Vladimir Arsenovic, AZUS and Sasa Rikanovic, Coordinator of the DILS Project, visited NICE from the 26th -30th September.
